This truly atrocious piece on social networking apps - which seems to mean, in the author’s eyes, “Facebook or MySpace widgets”, since where else could you possibly have a social network? - has persuaded me not to get a Time subscription. Well done.

For some reason, when I do “Show (Original) File” on an image in iPhoto, the Finder opens the window in some default state unlike that of any other window. If I reopen it later, it keeps the view settings it had before iPhoto got involved, but the window frame size changes. Grr. Argh. WTF. Etc.
