Meanwhile, the BBC’s eyewitness report notes that people were smoking: “in my carriage one man snatched a cigarette from the hands of party-goer demanding he put it out”. Doesn’t anyone remember King’s Cross or Oxford Circus? Smoking’s banned for a reason.
