I decided to try again to find the infamous “performance” of the Blue Room on Top of the Pops, during their ill-advised “music must be played live” era in the early ’90s, having followed a link from fluxtumblr to a Blur performance on MTV. And, lo and behold, here it is.
Doesn’t one of the chess pieces look a bit like Tower 42? Or is that just me? Also, congratulations to the cameraman on doing their best to make it interesting.
