- indec: I hate sales pitches that describe a product as costing "less than a latte a day".
- indec: I have yet to see the definition of the Standard Fiscal Latte anywhere.
- blech: Is that the British Latte or the American?
- indec: Well quite. And what /size/ British or American Latte?
- indec: And does it have any funny syrups or other blandishments?
- blech: Presumably you'd go for the default latte. Medium?
- blech: Does the price of a latte vary even within a country?
- indec: Well, it will between venues, at least.
- indec: Unless they've all standardised on the Standard Fiscal Latte of course.
- indec: And these messages have probably been written by ad execs, who probably have skewed perceptions of normalcy.
- indec: Or are coked out of their heads.
