I’m a sucker for the “looking up” genre, and this one’s particularly nice because of the nested shadows and reflections. Photograph by Jeffrey Meyers.

A scene-setting still from the Daybreakers trailer. I’m not that bothered about the movie, even though it looks like it might be a bit more thoughtful than some blockbusters, but I sort of like the look of this. 30 St Mary Axe plus gratuitous skybridges? Sure, I prefer the 1960s concrete variety, but hey, sign me up.
Actually, wait a second. Wouldn’t vampires rather have big concrete towers with no windows? Or, you know, tunnels? Ah well. That wouldn’t be as photogenic. (Believe me, I’m having real trouble with the highwalks.)
