I first came across these works as part of the exhibition on Japanese prints in the era of Impressionism at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco last January. Rivière’s homage to Hokusai is as powerful despite featuring a technological icon rather of a natural feature.
A couple of weeks ago, Anne mentioned that she had bought the Ladybird Book Of London. I’ve had a copy since I was a child, so I thought I’d upload a few quick photos of some of the spreads in the book. Enjoy.
Paul Mison's random stuff that doesn't go elsewhere. Is it microblogging, or microactivity?
(Previously known as 'tumblr is my sock drawer', for reasons that are somewhat unclear.)
